Remember the Movie Demolition Man??

So I got to thinking the other day when I saw the new Taco Bell commercial for the $.79, $.89 & $.99 menu that maybe the movie Demolition Man was quite a prophecy!! Think about it....they made mention that only Taco Bell survived the franchise wars so now every restaurant is Taco Bell. Well there may not be franchise wars going on right now, but there sure as hell are gas price wars going on which is pushing up the prices of everything else and with the employers not raising salaries to match the growing cost of living, it seems that all anyone will be able to afford to eat is Taco Bell!

You can feed a family of 4 for maybe 12$....tops. You try to go to the grocery store and spend only $12. No way...a gallon of milk alone is $4!!! Then try to buy some meat...yeah that's another $9 bucks for 3 chicken breasts. So we're already at $12 for only 3 people and all you're getting is chicken. At least w/ Taco Bell, you get a mix of the protein, carbs and veggies ... I know, my logic may seemed really Eff'd up. But really, take a step back and really think about it...it makes sense doesn't it!!
