Josh is 2 months and 2 days old today. He had his first set of shots yesterday and good Lord it was horrible. I took the pic below before his dr appointment...he was all smiles and happy and then we had shots...and it was not fun!
Thankfully he took it like a champ. Yes, he wailed during the needle sticks, but afterward was calm and collected. He was awake and wanted to play a little when we got home and then after a quick nap, was PISSED OFF! He was almost inconsolable....I gave him his bedtime bottle a little early and he was fast asleep by 10pm and slept till 9 this morning! He's pretty much been sleeping all day so far too...but from what I'm told, they sleep like logs after their shots. Leaves me plenty of "me" time which totally means sitting my lazy ass on the couch and lurking around on Facebook and watching lots of Charlie Sheen videos like this one...

So Josh has finally figured out his hands....he's found his thumb and has been trying to cram his whole fist in his mouth lately..lol. That also means he's interacting with his platmat more now...love it!!

Sheen Babies...

I think I just developed a new hobby...LOL. It's 12:30am...my little guy is dead asleep and has been sleeping throught the night lately...now I can't sleep....WTF! So I was lurking around my January Mommy Board on Baby Center and there has apparently been a ton of drama over there that I missed (damnit) and alot of posts poking fun at some of the stuff have popped up and gotdamit they are mother effing hillarious! So this post about our little ones not holding their bottles started and it's gone on for days and is so funny! It's evolved to a bunch of different things and of all things, Charlie Sheen is the latest topic.
This is where this brilliant hobby comes in. One of the girls there, Nicole, had mentioned that they've made lol cats about Sheen (see: sheen cats) and that they should make the crazy baby faces with Sheen quotes. So at midnight, I take it upon myself to make a few and here they are ...enjoy!

Oh Charlie Sheen...

I live in a condo complex and have a good mix of neighbors. My direct neighbors are great people along with some people I've become friends with in other buildings. But then there are also some "winners"...not the Charlie Sheen type of winners...but it would be pretty DAMN cool if he did live here.
I mean really....can you immagine....it would be all about winning! And immagine the health care costs we would all save because as Charlie has demonstrated, he has healing powers.

Then there's the tiger blood and the goddesses...I mean, really, it's a win win situation. Especially with the state of affairs in my condo complex.....I'm not too keen on our property manager. Don't trust the guy as far as I could throw him. So it would be awesome for Charlie Sheen to teach this guy a thing or two about tiger blood and winning! LOL.
And let's not forget - he brings gum for everyone!
A Sleepy Tuesday and an Oreo Problem

My little guy will be 6 weeks on Thursday and I'm pretty sure he's going through his 6 wk growth spurt. He's been very sleepy all week with very little awake time...mostly just after his morning bottle. Even as I type he's asleep on my left arm and I'm typing with one hand.
What a life huh? Eat, sleep, poop...wash rinse repeat...lol. This little guy is just amazing!
I still can't believe he's 6 weeks this week! Before I know it he'll be 8 weeks and in for his 2 month shots!
So, sleepy day aside, I've come to a conclusion....I have an Oreo problem. Not as in I have none or I have too many....but as in I keep eating them!! I'm really debating calling Peapod and making them ban Oreos from my account. Speaking of....Peapod is an amazing find! I haven't been able to go food shopping since having the baby and honestly don't think I ever wanna step foot in the store again! No more lugging bags up the stairs or waiting for Shane to be around so we can go shopping, I love it!
But I digress...I lost 30 of the 45lbs I put on so fast after having the baby...and if I keep this Oreo thing up it's gonna all come back. Part of me wants to go back to work just so I'll stop eating...lol.
I think I'm gonna out little man down in his rock n play and take a cue from him and take a nap.
